Queezle embodies all of what a Terv should be, and has excelled in both the conformation ring and various performance events, including agility, tracking, rally, herding and obedience. Her show career started with two Best Puppy in Match awards at 4 months old, and from there she has never looked back. Her first weekend out she took two 5-point majors over specials and earned a Group IV, and she finished her CH from the puppy classes. As a special her accomplishments include *five* Herding Group I awards, Best in Sweeps at the 2006 ABTC National Specialty, a Best in Specialty Show, two Best of Opposite at Specialty Shows, BOS at the AKC/Eukanuba Invitational in 2007 (she also qualified in 2008) and BOS at Westminster in 2008. She and Kate also qualified for both Eukanuba and Westminster in Junior Showmanship.

Although she enjoys the conformation ring, Queezle’s favorite things to do are probably tracking and agility. She passed her TD in May 2006 in under four minutes, and made her agility debut in Jumpers at the 2006 ABTC National with two first places. She loves to work, and will even work through thunderstorms and for other people if Kate isn’t around. Her first time tracking with another person was when Deb took her to the local ASCA test, where she passed her TD despite having to work through heavy wind with 60-mph gusts. She earned her CD in three straight shows with Deb in fall 2009 while Kate was away at college.

Queezle’s name came from the second book of Jonathan Stroud’s Bartimaeus Trilogy. The djinn she was named for fit her personality perfectly – clever, beautiful and a little bit evil. She learns very quickly, and has a sense of humor. She is a very can-do dog and loves to go in the car, especially if we have packed the dog show stuff! Her favorite things in the world are Kate, the car, a Frisbee and her grooming table (she likes being able to survey her kingdom). Although she is not particularly outgoing, she is very tolerant of people and doesn’t care who pets her, from little kids to elderly people in wheelchairs. She is a certified therapy dog through Therapy Dogs International, and has her CGC. She is good with other dogs and likes to play. She does have a medium-brown eye.

Queezle’s first litter was the Chateau Blanc M litter with BIS BISS CH Rockaway’s Southern Comfort “Tanner.” 3 boys and 3 girls were born on February 25, 2009. Daughters Demi and Lexi have already finished their Championships!
